Special Screening of Academy Award-Nominated Doc

There's a free special screening of producer/director Richard E. Robbins' Academy Award-nominated feature Operation Homecoming: Writing the Wartime Experience in Los Angeles this coming Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills.

Dana Gioia, Chairman of the National Endowment of the Arts will be the special guest speaker.  The film was built upon a project created by the NEA to gather the writings of troops and their families from the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan.  The screening is hosted by The Documentary Group and the gorgeous and talented, Josh Lucas, one of the many celebrities lending their voices and participation to this brilliant film.  RSVP to [email protected] for yourself and a guest.
