The Paley Center takes a look at some of this year's Academy Award-nominated documentaries in a special program slated for Saturday and Sunday, February 21 - 22. The Paley Center for Media and the International Documentary Association will host screenings of the features and shorts that are nominated for the 81st annual Oscars. The awards show will air live from Hollywood that Sunday evening. The screenings are free for Paley and IDA members.

The Oscar nominees for Best Documentary Feature are: The Betrayal (Nerakhoon), Encounters at the End of the World, The Garden, Man on Wire and Trouble the Water.
The Oscar nominees for Best Documentary Short Subject are: The Conscience of Nhem En, The Final Inch, Smile Pinki [still from film, pictured] and The Witness--From the Balcony of Room 306.
